My classwork at IUPUI has provided me with several experiences in collections management and conservation.

Ziibiwing Cultural Center

During my Community Collaboration & Curation class taught by Holly Cusack-McVeigh, I journeyed to the Ziibiwing Cultural Center in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to assist them with collections and curation work.

I completed an inventory of the Van Tassle basket collection and assisted with the cleaning of the permanent exhibits.

Ray Bradbury Center

Part of my internship duties at the Ray Bradbury Center including assisting with the archival of historic records from the author's collection. I learned the processes of archiving from the Center's volunteer archivist, catalogued several drawers worth of documents, and updated the archival directory.
